Brand identity, marketing site, chat widget

Brand and website for an AI support agent made for online shops. I created the identity, then designed the marketing site and the chat widget shoppers talk to.

The challenge

AI support is a crowded, sceptical market. Shop owners have been burned by chatbots that guess, so Hollis had to look trustworthy rather than futuristic, and prove itself in the first scroll.

The approach

Having run online shops myself, I positioned Hollis as a colleague, not a robot: a name, a calm voice and a brand built from speech bubbles. The site lets visitors ask the agent a real question within seconds of landing.

A colleague, not a chatbot
Two bubbles, one H
Identity

A colleague, not a chatbot

The mark joins two speech bubbles into an H: one conversation, someone on each side. Warm violet and peach replace the neon gradients most AI brands share, and the voice is a helpful shop assistant, not a machine.

From 24 pixels to full screen

The identity has to work at 24 pixels in a chat launcher and full-bleed in an ad. These three pieces show it at both ends.

Ask it anything, on the homepage

The hero is the product: visitors can ask the agent about a demo shop before they've scrolled. The rest of the page answers the doubts in order: is it accurate, what does it cost, and what happens when it's stuck.

Proof in the first scroll

Every answer shows where it came from: the order, the returns policy or the size guide. When a question needs a person, Hollis says so and hands over the conversation with the details attached.
You pay when it works
Pricing

You pay when it works

Pricing is per conversation Hollis resolves, so shops only pay for answers that landed. On mobile, the demo becomes the first thing you see.

Big enough for a billboard

The same violet, peach and speech bubbles carry from the chat launcher to a billboard, so a shop owner who sees the ad recognises the widget straight away.
